1. General
1.1. Shooting Stuff CC (hereafter “Shooting Stuff”) is a private company registered in South Africa under registration number CK1995/45142/23, and trading as “Shooting Stuff” and as “Safety Stuff” and as “Basic Stuff” and as ”Shooting Range”.
1.2. Shooting Stuff is not responsible for typographical errors. Shooting Stuff reserves the right to cancel any order you have placed if there was a typographical error on any of the Shooting Stuff stores concerning the pricing or availability of any item you ordered when you placed the order.
1.3. Shooting Stuff reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale of any of the Shooting Stuff stores at any time.
1.4. Shooting Stuff may make changes to any products or services offered at any of the Shooting Stuff stores, or to the applicable prices for any such products or services, at any time, without notice. The information provided at any of the Shooting Stuff stores with respect to products and services may be out of date, and Shooting Stuff makes no commitment to update the information provided at any of the Shooting Stuff stores with respect to such products and services.
1.5. Shooting Stuff reserves the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice:
1.5.1 to modify, suspend or terminate operation of or access to any of the Shooting Stuff stores, or to any portion of any of the Shooting Stuff stores, for any reason;
1.5.2 to modify or change any of the Shooting Stuff stores, or any portion of the Shooting Stuff stores, and any applicable policies or terms;
1.5.3 and to interrupt the operation of any of the Shooting Stuff stores, or any portion of the Shooting Stuff stores, as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.
1.6. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine that the goods or services ordered from any of the Shooting Stuff stores are suitable for the purpose of intended use.
1.7. The risk of damage to or destruction of goods is passed to the Customer on taking physical possession, or by means of signature of the delivery receipt upon delivery to the Customer or the Customer's nominated representative and the Customer undertakes to insure the goods fully.
1.8. To the extent permitted by law, all sales at any of the Shooting Stuff stores are governed by South African law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.
1.9. The Customer acknowledges all copyrights, and shall not duplicate copyrighted material under any circumstances.
1.10. It is the duty of the Customer to return any defective goods to the premises of Shooting Stuff, at the Customer’s own expense, and in line with our Refund Policy.
1.11. Any order is subject to cancellation by Shooting Stuff due to force majeure from any clause beyond the control of Shooting Stuff, including (without restricting this clause to these instances): inability to secure labour, power, materials or supplies, or by reason of an act of God, war, civil disturbance, riot, state of emergency, strike, lockout, or other labour disputes, fire, flood, drought or legislation.
1.12. All guarantees are immediately null-and-void should any equipment or product be tampered with or should the seals on it be broken by anyone, or should there be any signs of abuse, or should the goods be operated outside the Manufacturer’s specifications.
1.12.1 Notwithstanding this, Shooting Stuff fully supports Dillon Precision Products’ “Lifetime No-B.S.” warranty on their equipment and also on the Shooting Stuff brand of accessories for said equipment. Refer to Dillon Precision Products for full details of the “Lifetime No-B.S.” warranty.
1.12.2 Unless specifically authorised in writing by any particular manufacturer, the use of reloaded or remanufactured ammunition in firearms is considered outside the Manufacturer’s specifications.
1.13. Under no circumstances will Shooting Stuff be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or loss of profit or for any delictual liability of any nature whatsoever.
1.14. Under no circumstances will Shooting Stuff be liable for any damage rising from any misuse or abuse of the goods.
1.15. Any printout of computer evidence tendered by Shooting Stuff shall be admissible evidence and no party shall object to the admissibility of such evidence purely on grounds that such evidence is computer evidence.
1.16. All goods supplied by Shooting Stuff remain the property of Shooting Stuff until such goods have been fully paid for, and such payment be verified as successfully received in the company bank account.
1.17. No Shooting Stuff employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Shooting Stuff store's policies or the terms and conditions governing any sale.
1.18. Staff members are not allowed to alter any pricing, or to offer any form of discount to a customer.
1.19. All quotations are valid only for 7 days, and only while stock lasts.
1.20. Stock is only reserved against full payment or against receipt of an agreed deposit where such agreement is also stated in writing.
1.21. If any of the aforementioned policies are held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be void or unenforceable, such policy shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and replaced with a valid provision that best embodies the intent of the policy, so that the policies shall remain in full force and effect.
1.22. Shooting Stuff’s failure to insist on or enforce strict performance of these policies shall not be construed as a waiver by Shooting Stuff of any provision or any right it has to enforce these policies, nor shall any course of conduct between Shooting Stuff and you or any other party be deemed to modify any provision of these policies.
1.23. The Customer shall be liable to Shooting Stuff for all legal expenses (including collection fees) on the attorney own client scale incurred by Shooting Stuff in the event of:
1.23.1 any default by the Customer, or
1.23.2 any litigation in regard to the validity and enforceability of this agreement.
1.24. The Customer will also be liable for any collection or valuation fees incurred.
1.25. These policies shall not be interpreted or construed to confer any rights or remedies on any third parties.
1.26. By interacting in any way on any of the Shooting Stuff stores or websites, or by placing an order on any of the Shooting Stuff stores, the Customer warrants that he/she:
1.26.1 has made himself/herself fully aware of these terms,
1.26.3 fully understands these terms, and
1.26.3 accepts these terms.
1.27

Safety Stuff takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

1.28

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Safety Stuff chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Shooting Range may collect your personal information according to our privacy policy, detailed here. You may request our POPIA compliance manual for information on the rules and procedures Shooting Range uses in relation to the processing of your personal information.

2. Indemnity
2.1. By making use of any of our services, or by purchasing any of our products, or by entering the retail shop, you agree to indemnify and hold Shooting Stuff retail store, Shooting Stuff CC, Shooting Range and its respective members, employees, agents, suppliers, information or service providers harmless from, and against any and all claims, liability, losses, costs and expenses incurred in connection with any use of products, services or information made available here.
